Essential Duties:
- Curriculum Design: Develop and implement a tailored ELL curriculum that meets the unique needs of diverse learners.
- Instructional Delivery: Provide engaging lessons focused on improving students reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student performance and provide timely feedback to help them advance their language skills.
- Supportive Environment: Cultivate a weling classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and cultural exchange.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with fellow educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for ELL students.
- Ongoing Development: Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in ELL instruction.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Certification: Valid teaching certification (or eligibility) in the state of Illinois.
- Experience: Prior experience working with ELL students is preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and munication skills, with a focus on fostering an inclusive classroom environment.
