Position Summary:

• Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom where students feel safe and empowered to learn.
  
• Establish and maintain behavioral guidelines that promote a productive learning atmosphere.
  
• Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate English language support across all subjects.
  
• Assess student development regularly and adjust instruction to ensure continuous language improvement.
  
• Design and deliver lessons aligned with school and state standards to support ELL students in their language acquisition.
  
• Provide personalized lessons to meet the specific needs of English Language Learner (ELL) students in one-on-one and small group settings.
  

Requirements

1. Must hold an Illinois PEL with ESL endorsement
   
2. Proven experience as an ESL Teacher or relevant role
   
3. Experience working with students of diverse language backgrounds
   
4. A bachelor”s degree from an accredited university is required. A Master”s degree in TESOL or a related field is a plus
