Role Description:

• Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom where students feel safe and empowered to learn.
  
• Establish and maintain behavioral guidelines that promote a productive learning atmosphere.
  
• Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate English language support across all subjects.
  
• Assess student development regularly and adjust instruction to ensure continuous language improvement.
  
• Design and deliver lessons aligned with school and state standards to support ELL students in their language acquisition.
  
• Provide personalized lessons to meet the specific needs of English Language Learner (ELL) students in one-on-one and small group settings.
  

Requirements

• Possess a valid Illinois PEL with an ESL endorsement.
  
• Earned a bachelor”s degree from an accredited institution.
  
• Demonstrated success in teaching ESL or performing in a similar capacity.
  
• Skilled in supporting students from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
