Role Introduction:

• Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom where students feel safe and empowered to learn.
  
• Establish and maintain behavioral guidelines that promote a productive learning atmosphere.
  
• Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate English language support across all subjects.
  
• Assess student development regularly and adjust instruction to ensure continuous language improvement.
  
• Design and deliver lessons aligned with school and state standards to support ELL students in their language acquisition.
  
• Provide personalized lessons to meet the specific needs of English Language Learner (ELL) students in one-on-one and small group settings.
  

RequirementsApplicants must possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an ESL endorsement. A bachelor”s degree from an accredited institution is required, along with proven experience as an ESL teacher or in a related role. Ideal candidates will have a background in working with students from diverse linguistic and cultural communities, demonstrating a commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments.
