Position Brief:

• Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate English language support across all subjects.
  
• Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom where students feel safe and empowered to learn.
  
• Establish and maintain behavioral guidelines that promote a productive learning atmosphere.
  
• Assess student development regularly and adjust instruction to ensure continuous language improvement.
  
• Design and deliver lessons aligned with school and state standards to support ELL students in their language acquisition.
  
• Provide personalized lessons to meet the specific needs of English Language Learner (ELL) students in one-on-one and small group settings.
  

RequirementsA valid Illinois PEL with an ESL endorsement is required. Proven experience as an ESL Teacher or similar role. Experience working with students from diverse language backgrounds. A Bachelor”s degree in a related field, a Master”s degree in TESOL, or a related discipline is a plus.
