What You”ll Do:

• Design and deliver tailored lesson plans that meet the needs of English Language Learners (ELL) while adhering to state and school standards.
  
• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  
• Collaborate with general education teachers to seamlessly integrate language support into the wider curriculum.
  
• Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom that motivates students and nurtures their growth.
  
• Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies to ensure continued language development.

Requirements

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with ESL Endorsement.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Education, TESOL, or related field (Master”s degree is a plus).
  
• Experience working with English Language Learners in a school setting is preferred.
