The Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a new Group Curriculum Director (GCD) SEND. This role has become available due an internal promotion of the current Group Curriculum Director to Deputy Principal. Reporting to the Deputy Principal Epping Campus the GCD is responsible for the SEND Directorate across all NCC campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of inclusive education for over 500 SEND learners, including adults.
- Responsible for leading the SCMs in driving up quality, maintaining strong links with local authorities and supporting 70 plus members of staff within the Directorate including the newly transferred Curriculum Admin
- Deputising for the Deputy Principal as appropriate
- To drive the vision of becoming the largest high needs provision in the country providing outstanding support to learners.
- Work closely with the Supported Learning team in providing what the individual learner requires, academically and from a support perspective.
- Initiate and participate in schemes to generate funds from external sources and manage such schemes where appropriate and manage budgets.
- Strategic planning and delivering of the curriculum across all campuses.

You will be a dynamic professional with a proven track record of success and a genuine desire to play a pivotal role in the strategic development of the College's SEND provision. You will plan, lead and develop an appropriate curriculum for learners across college campuses. The successful candidate will also formulate and execute a clear strategic approach to the SEND curricula in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
