Secondary ESL Teacher - 2024/2025

Position: ESL teachers

Required Qualifications:

• DESE ESL Grades 5-12 licensure
• Bachelor's Degree
• Teaching experience
• Ability to teach students across a range of language proficiency levels, particularly SLIFE and newcomer students
• Strong written and oral communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills, especially those in the areas of collaboration, problem-solving, and decision making
• Ability to use technology effectively

Desired Qualifications:

• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and/or Portuguese
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience with family outreach

Compensation:

In accordance with the Burlington Educators' Association Unit A Contract
