Creating Engaging Lessons for Adult Immigrant Students
As an educator at our institution, you will be responsible for developing dynamic, student-focused lessons tailored to adult immigrant learners operating at a Low-Intermediate level of English proficiency. Your primary aim will be to facilitate an engaging and active learning environment that supports the educational growth of our students.

Employment Type: Part-Time
As an educator at our institution, you will be responsible for developing dynamic, student-focused lessons tailored to adult immigrant learners operating at a Low-Intermediate level of English proficiency. Your primary aim will be to facilitate an engaging and active learning environment that supports the educational growth of our students.
Schedule Details
- The position is part-time, with teaching sessions scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- You will be required to work a total of 9 teaching hours and dedicate 2 hours to lesson preparation each week.
- Additionally, there will be monthly meetings held from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
- The salary offered will fall within the range specified in the collective bargaining agreement, ensuring fair and competitive remuneration for your role.
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Submit a comprehensive application package, which includes providing copies of a social security card and government-issued identification.
- Complete the required C.O.R.I. form.
- Undergo a National Fingerprint-based background check in compliance with M.G.L. c. 71,
- 38G.
