Digital Marketing Specialist - TEFL Certification / Teach Abroad

International TEFL Academy

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

Location: This position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the U.S.

As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing department in increasing lead generation and conversion to meet company revenue goals. We're looking for a hands-on, results-oriented specialist to support our marketing team members and build campaigns across multiple marketing channels. This 100% remote role will provide substantial opportunities for on-the-job training and development.

  • Support Website Performance
    • Support tasks and projects related to web performance, including developing A/B testing for the website, landing pages, CTAs, and other digital properties as needed.
    • Make routine updates to the ITA blog & website for discount dates, webinar CTAs, graphics, class availability, and more.
    • Support our backlinking program, through targeted outreach campaigns and public relations.
  • Social Media & Reputation Management: Monitor social media properties and external review sites, respond to or escalate customer questions, and contribute to the expansion of the social media program through content creation and engagement.
  • Email Marketing & Automation: Create and review marketing-related emails and workflows.
  • Video & Graphic Creation: Support video editing and optimization, and basic graphic design through Canva.
  • Paid Advertising: Review and update listings and ads on our partner sites.
  • Reporting: Assist with reporting to measure the impact of marketing campaigns.
  • Department Communications: Manage the department inbox, addressing issues or sharing emails with appropriate team members.
  • Other tasks and projects, as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • International living experience-at least six consecutive months of living overseas. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field preferred
  • 1+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to learn on the job, produce tangible results, and tackle problems completely with total ownership
  • Proven ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and relationship management skills with a positive attitude and outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CMS & CRM platforms, such as Hubspot
  • Inbound marketing certification from Hubspot Academy preferred
  • Experience with video editing and/or basic graphic design preferred
  • Strong writing and website design skills are definitely a plus

As a marketing department member, you will join two marketing colleagues and report to our Chief Operating Officer.
