POSITION: ESL/Bilingual Supervisor

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• NJ certificate: Supervisor
  
• At least one of the following NJ certificates:
  
• Teacher of Bilingual/Bicultural Education
  
• Teacher of English as a Second Language
  
• At least 7 years of teaching in a Bilingual/ESL setting and/or school leadership experience
  
• Such other qualifications as the Superintendent may deem appropriate
  

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES:

• Improving student achievement in language learning.
  
• Supporting teachers in optimizing learning outcomes through high-quality instruction and best practices in language teaching.
  
• Providing teachers with reflective and focused feedback on instructional practices
  
• Planning and organizing collaborative professional learning opportunities.
  
• Collaborating with building-level administrators to support school and district instructional programs and initiatives.
  
• Using technology and software related to the field.
  
• Developing curriculum and assessments in language learning.
  

SALARY/STIPEND: Per contractual agreement
