Applications for Part-Time Instructors are always being accepted for assignments at the main campus as well as teaching on-line and at off-campus sites located at Fort Irwin and at the 1509 State Street location. Assignments are at the discretion of the District.Master's in TESL, TESOL, applied linguistics with a TESL emphasis, linguistics with a TESL emphasis, English with a TESL emphasis or education with a TESL emphasis OR

Bachelor's in TESL, TESOL, English with a TESL certificate, linguistics with a TESL certificate, applied linguistics with a TESL certificate, or any foreign language with a TESL certificate AND master's in linguistics, applied linguistics, English, composition, bilingual/bicultural studies, reading, speech or any foreign language OR the equivalent.

Desired Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in teaching at the community college level.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse, academic, socio-economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college studentsAPPLICATION PROCEDURE
