Full-Time Ministry Leader of ESL - Develop and implement strategies to mobilize PCPC members and linguistically diverse individuals from neighboring communities. Provide quality training, feedback, and support for teachers, while fostering a learning environment that is accessible and impactful for students. Must effectively manage ESL systems and processes to facilitate language learning, achieve growth initiatives, and promote fruitful ministry. Coordination of ESL program will include recruiting, training, supporting, and encouraging ESL volunteers, ESL adult students, and families; building of relationships with key community leaders; and collaborating with PCPC ministries. Must input and manage Ministry Platform database information for ESL, and track effectiveness of mobilization strategies. Provide admin and coordinator support for City Missions by fostering relationships with assigned ministry partners, assisting with special events and tasks that are sponsored and/or hosted by PCPC as needed, and by meeting with the Director of Missions bi-weekly, and meeting with the City Missions Team as needed.

Requirements

College degree and TESOL Certification is required as is experience in education, community outreach, and volunteer recruitment. Familiarity with social media is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with Ministry Platform (MP) Database is a plus; must possess aptitude to learn and use MP on a regular ongoing basis. PCPC membership is preferred. (PCPC provides support to obtain TESOL and trains employees to use MP.) This is a regular full-time (40 hours a week) benefit eligible exempt position; not eligible for overtime.
