Social Studies Teacher Grades 9-12

Westbrook High School is looking for a full time teacher for our social studies department. The schedule for the 2024-2025 school year is in the final development process, but is likely to include Advanced Placement courses and will be finalized based on the ideal candidate's experience and active certifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Advanced Placement courses as well as experience working with multilingual learners.

Required Certification:

History and Social Studies Grades 7-12 (026)

Preferred Additional Certifications:

English Grades 7-12 (015)

TESOL PK-12 (111)

Bilingual endorsements

Candidates fluent in Spanish or Portuguese and who are willing to pursue relevant bilingual endorsements are strongly encouraged to apply
