NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
TEACHER POSITIONS
Welcome to Alvarado Independent School District online application system.
Please note: Some Teacher postings are done as a general position with no specific campus listed so that the district may create a pool of interested applicants for the subject and grade level. Shortage Area Stipends are paid to: Secondary Math, Secondary Science, Secondary ELAR, Secondary Foreign Language, Elementary Bilingual, and all level Special Education teachers.
The Human Resources Department first reviews all teacher applications to ensure all state certification requirements are met. If possible, please include a copy of your TEA Certificate with your attachments. If you have not yet completed your certification, please include your target certification and effective date in the additional comments section. Only applications meeting the job requirements will be released to the campus Administrators.
PLEASE NOTE: Your application is considered incomplete if you do not include references.
The hiring Administrator will contact any applicants they are interested in interviewing. The Human Resources Department does not schedule or set up interview appointments. Most professional positions are left posted until filled.
