EMPLOYMENT SPECIFICS:
Full-Time (Exempt Administrative/Professional/Technical, 260 days), 1.0 FTE
POSITION LOCATION: Fort Morgan, CO
PURPOSE/SUMMARY OF JOB:
This position is responsible for developing a comprehensive Basic Skills, High School Equivalency, High School Completion, and ESL Program. The program is designed to deliver instruction in English as a Second Language, basic skills, college preparation, high school equivalency and develop skills for job attainment/promotion and success. Responsibilities include identifying funding opportunities, program implementation, financial management, data management, referrals to partner agencies and transitions to college courses, as well as supervision, hiring, and scheduling of GED/ESL staff. This position may also include direct teaching assignments which may be scheduled at various times including evening and weekend offerings. A variety of instructional delivery modalities (synchronous, online, remote) will be utilized via WebEx/Zoom and a Learning Management System. The individual shall perform all duties while promoting opportunities for inclusion, expressing the valuing of differences, and regularly demonstrating the college's commitment to the Guiding Principles.

Salary and Benefits:
$57,600 to $66,240 based on education, skills and experience. Benefits include health, life, dental insurance, LTD & benefit package including tuition reimbursement in accordance with Colorado Community College and Occupational Education System policies. No relocation assistance is provided.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Ability to teach English Language Learners (ELL) and high school equivalency preparation.
- Strong ability to communicate and interact with culturally diverse populations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and interact with at-risk populations, as well as various agency personnel.
- Evidence of computer literacy including MS Office Suite, and ability to learn other software as required by the position.
- Ability to utilize student support technology, such as student information systems and web-based portals.
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours to provide instruction and complete special projects as necessary.
- Ability to travel out of town as needed to carry out the job duties.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in Education, TESOL or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- Experience in adult education.
- Multilingual in English, Spanish and French or Arabic.
- Experience in report writing.
