Job Description:

International House London is currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Albanian teachers to join our growing Foreign Languages team. The role primarily involves teaching adults on our evening face-to-face courses at our school in Covent Garden. Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Albanian language lessons to adult learners.
• Create engaging and effective lesson materials and activities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere in the classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of courses and maintain consistent teaching standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Essential

• Albanian (C2 level)
• Fluent English
• Initial teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience to adults.
• Must have the right to work in the UK and be currently based in the UK.

Desirable

• Possess a CLTA, CELTA, Trinity TESOL or DELTA
• QTS
• Hold a degree in Albanian Language and Literature or a degree in Modern Languages (English, Spanish, German, French, etc.).

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position. Most lessons are the evening from 18.30 -20.30, once a week. We also have some classes in the afternoons, Friday evenings and Sunday mornings.
