Pittsburg State University is accepting applications for a position as an adjunct Instructor in the Intensive English Program. Teaching responsibilities include nine hours per week of instruction with additional duties of preparing teaching materials. Instructors must also confer with and help students outside class as needed and appropriate and have two office hours per week. They must maintain and report accurate attendance records and grades. They may also be asked to contribute to projects and committees related to program development.
Applicants must have a master's degree or master's degree in progress in TESL, English, or related field with preferred experience teaching in an intensive English program in a U.S. institution of higher education. Candidates with certificates in ESOL may also be considered. They must have native or near-native fluency in English and preferred competency in a foreign language, and/or experience living or traveling abroad.

Appointment Duration: Semester
Work Schedule: Part Time
