The School of Education and Social Sciences at Missouri Valley College invites applications for an Assistant Professor of English as a Second Language to begin in August 2024. This position is a full-time, renewable, non-tenure track position.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Faculty members are responsible for curriculum, teaching, service, scholarship, and related administrative activities that support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the College.
Qualifications
Collegiality, professionalism, and a strong commitment to teaching excellence and the College mission are also necessary qualifications.

Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited institution with at least 18 graduate credit hours in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field, such as English, Education, Reading, or Language Arts, is required; terminal degree is preferred.
- College-level teaching experience preferred.
- Director or coordinator experience in a college level program preferred.
- Experience with SEVIS regulations preferred.
- Candidates with a bachelor's degree and work experiences that are equivalent to the minimum educational qualifications may be considered.
