LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Qualified SEN Teaching Assistant for a Pupil Referral Unit in the Leyland area.
This new role is a temporary position, starting in February 2024 and may become ongoing for the right candidate.
The role is covering full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
In this role the candidate will be providing 1-to-1 support to a Year 3 ESL pupil.The candidate must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and experience of working with SEN children.
Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:•Monitoring targets for future progress•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school's practice•Excellent behaviour management skills
