PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Torrance Adult School provides both Adult Basic Education and Adult Secondary Education programs for our community. Our program enrolls over 400 students each term. We utilize Learning Lab, Independent Study, and Distance Learning methods to provide courses of study to our students. The ASE program is a self-paced and self-directed program.

CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENT: CA Designated Subjects Adult Education Credential with ESL authorization OR Multiple or Single Subject Credential with ELA1 or CLAD
Letter of Introduction, current resume, completed EDJOIN application, valid teaching credential (please upload detailed credential), two letters of recommendation that have been written within the past two years. Your application packet will be paper screened, and advanced for consideration for interview only if it is complete. Candidates who do not submit all of the required documents will not be considered in the selection process or contacted. Selected applicants will be notified regarding time and place of interviews.
