ESL Instructor Redondo Beach California, now hiring

We are Internexus Los Angeles, a CEA-accredited Intensive English Language School. We are SEVP-approved to enroll F1 students.

We have an immediate need for a teacher to cover our high-intermediate level. We anticipate hiring additional instructors over the coming months.

Currently we are teaching under a SEVP-approved Covid accommodation with most of our classes using zoom, with some in-person instruction. The in-person instruction elements of our program will increase over the coming months. At the present, instructors should plan on teaching at least one day a week at our Redondo Beach campus.

Instructors must be able to teach at our Redondo Beach campus in order to be considered for this position.

Classes normally meet from 9 or 9:30am to 1:30 or 2:00 pm , Monday through Thursday. We hope to add afternoon and evening sections in the coming months.

Preferred Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate degree. An English-teaching related field is a plus. If the degree is not teaching related, a TESOL or equivalent certificate.

6 months experience.

Knowledge of Pearson's MyEnglishLab and their StartUp series is a plus.
