Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring English (ESL) Language Teachers to give lessons in person in Portland, Oregon. Our learners can request lessons at their home, office, individually, or in groups.

Job Information:

• ESL Lessons for a family of three that speak Mandarin as their first language.
• Lessons are individual and in-person to start in January of 2022.
• Please note that the family is not interested in virtual lessons.
• They can take lessons back-to-back for convenience.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering dynamic, practical, and engaging lessons
• Developing curriculum based on learner's proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring student's progress and guiding learners towards learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field desired.
• Minimum of two years of experience teaching the target language.
• Experience with coaching writing skills is a plus.
