Are you a HLTA looking for your next role or an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to train to be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)? Academics are currently working with a school in Chertsey, who are recruiting for their next HLTA, to become part of their team.
The school are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or experienced Teaching Assistant who is willing to train as a HLTA. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will work closely with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils and promote pupils' independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. They will support pupils, individually or in groups, to make sure they have the best chance of succeeding.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will need to fully support students up to GCSE level, adapt your support depending on the needs of the student, and make observations and carry out sessions instructed by the teacher to improve progress.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Chertsey you will be working alongside teachers, as well as other support staff, in order to help students to progress within the classroom.
Key skills and experience needed for this Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) position in Chertsey:
* Degree is preferred, in subjects such as psychology and sociology
* Ideal to have completed TEFL/CELTA
*Passionate about teaching and knowledge of the UK curriculum
