Location: Central London / Hybrid

Bucksmore Education, the UK's leading provider of academic short-courses and English language summer programmes, is looking to recruit a Head of Operations to drive forward the delivery of three of the Bucksmore Education offers: summer programmes in the UK; bespoke group programmes for Chinese schools & universities; and year-round home tuition programmes.

Working as a senior leader within Bucksmore Education, the Head of Operations will lead a team of permanent and seasonal staff to deliver short-term annual targets as well as contributing to the continuing long-term strategic growth of the company.

The Role:

  • Oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of necessary activities to deliver the Bucksmore Education summer programmes, closed group and Home Tuition offers, including:
  • Building the capacity of seasonal staff to deliver short courses around the UK
  • Working with prestigious venues to host traveling learners in their facilities in the key seasonal months
  • Overseeing the design, delivery and quality assurance of the programme content
  • Ensuring the logistics of the programme content are planned for and executed, maintaining the learners' experience as the utmost priority
  • The preparation for, and support of, the Home Tuition provision
  • Preparation for, and award of accreditation through the British Council
Representing Bucksmore Education to vendors and customers, in a position of authority and responsibilityLeading full-time and seasonal teams through key delivery periodsContributing to the organisation's direction as a key member of the core leadership team

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • Experience working in a busy office environment
  • Experience working in a summer school and or/EFL short courses
  • Experience managing a team in a dynamic environment
  • Experience dealing with young learners in a residential setting
