We are seeking a Spanish teacher for Glenn Public School. The Spanish teacher will be responsible for designing and teaching a program that uses Spanish to support nature based learning, incorporates the wider world, and celebrates student success. The position is for four hours a week during the school year.

Job Duties:

• Create relevent plans utilizing nature rich curriculum
• Help students develop an understanding of Spanish
• Plan instructional activities that include extension and enrichment of the curriculum, including field trips, hands on activities, visiting speakers, and use of community resources
• Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter being taught
• Prepare and deliver age-appropriate lessons
• Communicate with parents and staff by utilizing email and school newsletter
• Other duties as required and approved by administrator

Qualifications:

• Have experience in teaching Spanish
• Teaching certificate
• Ability to pass Criminal History Record Check
