The Department of East Asian Studies invites applications for a spring semester part time Japanese language lecturer position. The position is expected to begin January 16, 2024. Responsibilities include classroom teaching, grading assignments, and attending student activities. We seek candidates with a minimum requirement of a Master's degree in Linguistics, Japanese pedagogy, TESOL or equivalent; native or near-native fluency in Japanese; experience teaching Japanese to English-speaking students at the college level; and excellent command of English. Reference letters will be requested after an interview. Review of applications will begin immediately and will be conducted until the position is filled.
