This position will work at the Placer School for Adults campus in Auburn, CA and/or the school site in Lincoln (Lincoln High School), CA. Class will be Tuesday/Thursday from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Placer School for Adults is looking for a credentialed teacher who has an ESL (English as a Second Language) credential. 4 hours per week. Ability to: - Make Academic assessments, track progress, and maintain accurate educational records - Develop and correct diagnostic test - Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure the security of the classroom environment. - Develops lesson plans to address those needs in include individualized training for assignments - Provide individual and group instruction and educational counseling- Work cooperative with other education staff - Learn and adhere to departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Appropriate Valid CA Credential with ESL Authorization Selected candidate must be willing to teach distance learning when needed. The successful candidate will be required to complete DOJ clearance.
