Description
Adjunct Instructors needed to teach the following;
- English during the day at Mays Landing, Atlantic City and Cape May campus
- English as a Second Language (ESL) during the day at the Mays Landing and Atlantic City campus
Typical Qualifications
- Teaching experience is required
- Bachelor's degree required to teach developmental courses
- Master's degree required to teach college-level courses
Supplemental Information
Compensation: $740 per contact hour
Tuition Waiver - adjuncts may enroll for one credit course, tuition-free, during any semester they are teaching.
Paid sick leave in accordance with the NJ Paid Sick Leave Law
ABP (Alternate Benefit Program (https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/pensions/pension-active-abp.shtml) is a defined contribution retirement program for adjuncts. Adjuncts contribute 5% of base salary and the college contributes 8% of base salary. There are seven State-authorized ABP investment carriers. Life insurance benefits through ABP are payable to the beneficiary at 3.5X the member's salary.
