Located in St. Albans, NY, Riverton Charter Academy has a chess room that helps students with critical thinking skills! We have also outperformed the local school district on the state test for at least nine years. Opening our doors in 2010 and serving students K-8, we create endless opportunities for our students to become their best. We inspire our students to excel academically and think creatively to reach their full potential. Our dedicated teachers help students apply critical-thinking skills to solve real-world problems. We build kids of character through our moral focus program. As a result, students are prepared to tackle 21st century challenges and excel in high school, college, and beyond.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

NHA provides instructional support services to students who are identified as eligible for language support services.

Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements in New York.

Must have the ability to speak Spanish.

TESOL certification or English as a Second Language endorsement, preferred.

Experience with ELL students, preferred.

$71,365.00 to $97,289.00 / annually is the pay range for this role. Pay determination is based on experience, education, internal equity, and market as defined by NHA
