ELL Support Teacher
17.5 hours per week
$36.07 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prefer TESOL teaching license.
Serves as a resource to teachers with ELL students.
Proctors district testing activities as directed. Helps students with content-area preparation activities.
Maintains accurate records and submits reports on time.
Supports an inclusive educational environment.
Collaborates and supports teachers of ELL students through district literacy initiatives.
Collaborates with staff to determine the most effective approach for each student.
Prepares and implements English Language Learner Plan for students meeting eligibility requirements.
Researches innovative approaches to instruction.
Ongoing positive interaction with families.
