The successful candidate will be a confident and suitably qualified teacher of English as a Foreign Language with excellent command of the subject and strong communication skills. Candidates with a CELTA or TEFL/TESOL certification are encouraged to apply.All students at the school are well known, well cared for and receive the very best support and encouragement in their learning which engenders excellent progress in their academic, personal, social and spiritual development.To be considered for the TEFL Teacher role, you must have:

• a valid teaching qualification namely a B.Ed. / B.A in English with a PGCE or QTS / CELTA or TEFL/TESOL certification
• prior experience teaching English as a foreign language
• an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application.

This post is also suitable for an ECT looking to develop their career.As the TEFL Teacher, you will be expected to:

• model good teaching practice with a positive approach
• plan, prepare and deliver English language sessions and monitor student progress
• contribute to the school's overall success to enhance the opportunities available to pupils
