We are seeking an experienced EAL Teaching Assistant for an Outstanding' Ofsted-rated Secondary school based in Barnet. The ideal candidate will have experience as an EAL Teaching Assistant as they will be taking on the role of EAL Lead and arranging group interventions.
The Ideal Candidate
Experienced ESL/EAL Teaching Assistant with CELTA/TEFL desirable
Positive outlook and able to inspire students to reach their full potential
Organised and highly developed communication skills
Able to build strong rapport with students
Key Responsibilities
Leading small group interventions and one-to-one support
Assisting the Teacher with preparing resources
Monitoring students' progress and liaising with the Teacher to provide additional support where needed
