ESL Adjunct Instructor in Bridges English (ESL)

The University of Sioux Falls is seeking an instructor to teach in the Bridges program. Bridges is an English language preparation program designed to assist those in beginning English.

Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on a semester-by-semester basis, contingent upon the needs of the University. Additionally, and based on need, a successful instructor may have the option of continuing for a subsequent semester. The instructor position for Bridges is classified as part-time and is housed in the Academic Affairs area. Instructors teaching for Bridges report directly to the Director of International Education.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree (minimum 3.0 GPA) from an accredited institution. A degree in English or ESL/ENL/ELL is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of learners' special needs and have an appreciation of cultural diversity.
