This role is based at our Langley College campus; the centre for our main vocational and technical courses including Apprenticeships, Adult Education and HE. We deliver an innovative curriculum with superb specialist facilities including latest industry standard equipment, workshops and studios.

Sessional Lecturer in ESOL

As a Sessional Lecturer in ESOL you will responsible for delivering high quality teaching and academic support that enables learners to reach their potential. You will cover programmes across ESOL, working with students from ESOL Pre-Entry to Level One 19+ age groups.

Sharing your skills and knowledge, you will utilise your experience to motivate students to achieve, whilst developing and maintaining high levels of student retention and attendance.

You will also develop ways of working that are responsive to learners' needs, monitor and evaluate progress and practice. A natural communicator and proven motivator, you will thrive on student interaction, giving effective guidance and helping them make the most of their futures. This is an opportunity for a passionate individual who wishes to work in a truly stimulating and rewarding environment.

You will possess a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards) and hold an ESOL subject specialist qualification. You will also need to have experience of teaching ESOL and/or EFL across a range of levels.

The sessional hourly rate for this role is £24.17. We are looking for cover for up to 9 hours of teaching a week.

Please note there will be a requirement to travel to our community teaching locations in West London and Maidenhead. Reasonable travel expenses will be payable.
