About Seattle Pacific University:
Founded in 1891 by the Free Methodist Church of North America, Seattle Pacific University invites students to explore or go deeper in Christian faith. We want students to understand and serve the world through this lens. With our uncompromising commitment to academic challenge and rigor, as exemplified by the "Best National University" ranking by U.S. News & World Report, Seattle Pacific utilizes Seattle as our campus, exposing more than 3,500 undergraduate and graduate students to challenges and opportunities, helping them anticipate and shape the future in a thriving, world-class city.
Commitment to Diversity
Due to our mission of cultural engagement, SPU is committed to building an exceptional and diverse community. With approximately 350 faculty and 450 staff, at the heart of our mission-centered commitment to becoming a more diverse community is a desire to represent the breadth of God's kingdom more fully. We recognize diversity as a basic feature of God's creation, a core theme of the gospel, and inseparable from our Christian faith. We strive to become a workplace that recruits, develops, and retains faculty and staff who can embrace, value, and engage differences with humility and care. We invite you to join us on our journey as a faculty or staff member.
