English as an additional language school support
We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with learning difficulties and language barriers with English not being their first language. Successful candidates will be required full time for the rest of the academic year with the possibility of continuing on a permanent basis. You will be based in an alternative resource and study provision for EAL students where you can assist them on a 1-1 and group basis with their learning and interactions within the school settings.
Your new role
You will be given the opportunity, once fully cleared to DfE guidelines, of working within a range of Hays partnership schools across Liverpool. A current DBS issued and on the Update Service is preferred however we are happy to supply a HAYS DBS at no upfront cost.
What you'll need to succeed
you should have at least 6 months experience working within a school You should be excellent with time keeping and punctuality, as well as being able to go into new settings and assist different children with a variety of additional needs. The ideal candidate will be bi-lingual or have previous experience working with EAL Pupils. A TEFL qualification would also be ideal however not necessary.
