Job Details

The Department of Foreign Languages seeks an English as a foreign language professor with a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign/Second Language (TESOL, TEFL, TESL) or related areas (Bilingual Education, Applied Linguistics). 

Teaching experience is necessary. 

The professor will teach in the undergraduate English programs of the Instituto de Idiomas.

These could include the General English, International Relations English, Business English, Modern Languages and Culture English and English for Health Sciences Programs. 

The professor will be in charge of designing assessments, strengthening the curriculum, and possibly coordinating other teachers.

Depending on their interest, they may participate in research and other related projects in their areas of expertise. Also, the professor must take part in activities that support department and academic division development.
