Founded in 1984 as Türkiye’s first private, non-profit university, Bilkent University has quickly established itself as a major research center for research and teaching, attracting world-renowned scholars to faculty and many of the very best high school graduates to its student body. The university consists of nine faculties, six graduate schools (institutes), thirteen research centers. The medium of instruction for all courses (except for Turkish law) is English. The faculty is comprised of academic staff from over 37 different countries. The university seeks for English Language Instructors for its English Language Preparatory Program (PREP) and Faculty Academic English Program (FAE). These are non-tenure track positions with an initial contract of two years, renewable annually upon mutual agreement.
