ALPS Language School on Capitol Hill needs a teacher of ESL who will be available to teach group and private lessons daily beginning on March 27th. Our classes are taught Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We teach adult non-immigrants for the most part.
The position will require up to 8 hours daily teaching M-F. We do not have weekend classes.
Send a resume and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org. Qualified applicants will be contacted; please no calls.
Cover letter must include the following information: *Schedule for which you are available *Position (Regularly Scheduled or On-Call Substitute or both) *Address, as reasonable proximity to the school is a factor in hiring *References with both telephone and e-mail contacts. This information is required for overseas references as well.
Our website is www.EnglishInTheUSA.com if you have questions about our programs.
We also have an ongoing need for teachers to be on our substitute list. On-call substitutes cover classes and tutorials when other staff are sick or on vacation. This is a great sideline for somebody who wants to teach classes occasionally and will be available for the long term. As the availability of hours is unpredictable, it is not suitable for somebody looking for steady work.
Wages: $18.00 for group and private instruction and also for on-call substitute hours. Qualified full-time employees are eligible for medical and dental benefits.
