Tenure-track appointment starting August 2017, with 50% release time to direct Biola’s new English Language Learners (ELL) program; qualified applicants may be eligible for a 10-month contract. The successful candidate will teach in the ELL program (2/2) and direct the program in providing language-support-related services to international and other ELL students, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The director will have responsibilities in curricular development, faculty mentoring, student advising, program administration, development, marketing, as well as collaborative responsibilities in faculty hiring. The director will also oversee the program budget and manage day-to-day program operations.
