We are currently looking for a Language Specialist with a PhD in the field of Applied Linguistics/TESOL or an EdD in English Language Teacher Education. The successful applicant will teach teachers from Southeast Asia and other countries professional courses including Diploma and MA. The incumbent candidate should have expertise in Language Assessment and be comfortable with any one of the following:
Pedagogic Grammars/Grammar in Discourse
Second Language Acquisition
Second Language Pedagogy
Teaching of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing Skills
Curriculum Design and Materials Development
ICT in Language Teaching
He/she will also participate in research and publications and be involved in managing academic matters related to the programmes, including preparing schedules and coordinating courses.
Candidates should have at least three years of experience in teaching English as a second or foreign language at school or university level and in teacher training. Some work experience in managing programmes would be an advantage.
